ILEAP - JEICP: Publications

ILEAP contributes to the effective participation of developing countries in negotiations partly through its analytical support activities. These activities involve comprehensive background research for purposes of creating new knowledge, based on the needs expressed by ILEAP beneficiaries. Activities consist of conducting research and writing research papers through a network of interdisciplinary teams of professional advisors. The Terms of Reference for these papers are developed between ILEAP and its beneficiaries. This involves a collaborative process of consultation, as well as education, reflection, and the identification of advisory/research needs.

These are descriptive background papers which aim to inform/educate negotiators, researchers, and policymakers in both regional and multilateral negotiations.

 

These are analytical papers which aim to assist negotiators, researchers, and policymakers in their preparation of policies and negotiation positions. These papers provide recommendations and or policy options to negotiation stakeholders.
